Your private information, including but not limited to appointment history, payment details, and/or health concerns, will be securely stored in Makeova Den's database. It will not be misused or shared outside of the organization. Information is stored in accordance with Canadian Privacy Laws (PIPA).
Your contact information is required in order for the salon to clearly communicate appointment details and reminders, product and marketing initiatives, and business announcements.
Pictures taken during the appointment will only be done with your consent and will only be used for marketing purposes.
DEPOSITS
A deposit of 30% of the cost of your service will be charged before an appointment is confirmed. If an appointment is set in any scheduling platform, it is not guaranteed if the deposit is not received. Deposits are only accepted via e-transfer at this time. Please forward the deposit to contact@makeovaden.com with your first and last name, appointment date and time written in the notes section of the e-transfer.
PAYMENTS
The full amount of the deposit will be applied to the balance due upon arrival. Please note that services will not be rendered until full payment is made.
REFUNDS ON PRODUCTS
Customers have 24 hours to express interest in returning unused lace closures, wigs, and frontals ONLY. All other products are final sale. The lace product being returned must be in its original state with all tags attached. Should a product look or smell used, a return can be denied.
REFUNDS ON SERVICES
Should adequate notice of a cancellation be received, a full refund will be issued to the client to the e-mail address or phone number the e-transfer deposit was received from ONLY.
If you are late by 15 minutes or more, your Makeova Den stylist reserves the right to keep the deposit amount and cancel the appointment. if your lateness threatens to cut into other appointment times and your services are still rendered, an inconvenience fee of $40 may be applied to the balance due. If possible, the appointment may also be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Every client is important to us, and we understand things come up that may cause you to miss your appointment. With that in mind, we also want to give your appointment the time and attention it deserves.
As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment time. Failing to give 24-hour notice will result in a 50% charge of your booked service. Any no-shows will be charged 100% of their service amount.
Age Requirements
Dying, shaving, chopping your hair off – all are a big deal! It’s a huge change, and some hair stylists want to ensure their clients are old enough to make that decision or have approval from a parent or guardian first. Services will not be rendered to persons 16 years or younger without parental consent.
Food & Drink
Outside food and drinks are permitted. That being said, in-house snacks and beverages, may also be offered.
Pets
At this time, service animals only.
Right to Refuse Service
To ensure a safe work environment and positive client experience, Makeova Den staff reserve the right to refuse services should a client engage in behaviour(s) that threaten a cooperative environment.
